Updates on YPD Cambodia activities:Mery Fatima, based in Phnom Penh and now member of YPD Cambodia started dance classes for kids of 7 to 8 years old. Every week she teaches hip hop to 20 street kids from the Happy School. The Happy School is a community school that welcomes children from extremely poor urban communities unable to go to state or private school. After three months classes they will organize a show. We are all looking forward to see that! Thanks to the very active contribution of Leakhena Ly and the Cambodian Team, YPD Cambodia will organize and host the 2d Steering Committee meeting of the Asia-Europe Youth Network for Sustainable Development (AEYNSD) funded by ASEF next November. We wish them good luck with the preparation. Updates on YPD Hanoi activities:On May 10th 2008, YPD Hanoi organized a 1 day exposure trip in the province of Hatay called "Open our heart" for disable children. It was held by YPD and Emmanual Choir with the collaboration of 'Yahoo Answer Hanoi' and volunteers. Participants collected donation (clothes, books, notebooks…) and organized activities for children: games, songs, drawings, music performances… UNPD and UNESCO office based in Hanoi donated books to support the YPD Hanoi library-Café project. These books mainly focus on language and skills development. Congratulations to YPD Hanoi!
