YPD Newsletter, April 2010 YPD Australia All those who participated in YPD training in 2008 in Australia will remember Fr. Peter Carrucan, parish priest of the Holy Eucharist parish, who hosted us at St Albans. Fr. Peter will be retiring at the end of April after over 20 years serving the people of the parish, especially immigrants and refugees. Once again we thank Fr. Peter for his generosity in hosting us. We wish him well in his retirement.

YPD Hanoi YPD-Hanoi team will be going to Thanh Hoa province this April 16 - 18 to set up the third public library. The fourth public library will be set up here in Hanoi soon; it will be the main public library. The team proposes to have two more libraries in two Northern provinces after the main public library. The success of the library project is helping to keep the hope and ignite more passion to each and every YPD-Hanoi member. YPD Hanoi has persuaded Ms. Mary Fatima Natulan to be more involved. She has received valuable experience from YPD Hanoi during her stay as an assistant. She said “YPD Hanoi really gives a true example of being a servant for development. And thus, gives a passion to stay here in Vietnam and to ignite more passion to young people. Young people whose not been corrupted by the greed of power, work title and money. She really appreciates the unity of these young minds of university students and young professionals who are eager to be a member of YPD-Hanoi”. Salutes Cuong, the YPD-Hanoi leader. A very young leader, whose heart is really for the service to the people. He showed her a great example of a young leader. Congratulation to Greg Lopez and his wife Denise who had a baby boy, Francis. Greg Lopez is an advisor of YPD international. He is currently pursuing his PhD at Australian National University. Clemence Roger, Country coordinator of France, has left for DR Congo for 5 months to do an internship program in Kinshasa. We wish her a pleasant and meaningful internship in Kinshasa.
