YPD NEWSLETTER MAY 2008!!Friendly Reminder:YPD annual training programme on ‘Water for Life’ is going to take place in less than 2 months!! All interested participants who did not send their registration form to Amrit Jessal yet, please do it as soon as possible! YPD General Assembly:To prepare the YPD General Assembly (on July 15th to 16th) we ask each YPD team to bring a short report of their local activities to present to the rest of the Network. Aaayyyyooooo will you say, no lah! No need to bother you, just two pages is enough, bring also pictures, posters, video… any original material is most welcome! The General Assembly is the opportunity for all of us to share about our activity. YPD Bangladesh set up an office:The Bangladeshi team has set up an office to run their YPD activity in KaraniGonj?, close to the city of Dhaka. Congratulations to all of you guys! WE wish you good luck for your following activities. Two ASEF conferences coming soon!From June 23rd to 27th ASEF is organizing the Second Asia-Europe Youth Interfaith Dialogue in Bandung, West Java, Indonesia. From July 15th to the 22d ASEF is organising the 19th International Youth Forum 2008: Youth Challenges in the ASEM Context, which will take place in Seoul and Goesan, Republic of Korea. Any YPD Member interested, please check out the website where you can find all related information. Deadline for application: May 25th. News in Brief:We are very pleased to inform you that Samuel, one of the former member from YPD France who participated to the first training programme in 2003 got married with Jessica on May 3rd, in Brexent Enocq in France. Congratulations to both of them! Congratulation to Malayvieng from Lao YPD who will participate to the International Association for Traffic and Safety Sciences (IATSS) forum on September in Japan. |
