Pray for Japan!

First we all YPD is very touched what happened with Japan at a few months. Let’s  always pray for Japan constantly according to our belief. Hopefully Japan will be better. YPD Karen

Now YPD Karen Team very very busy for the Annual Summer Training. The training was started on 1st of April and will reach to 30th of April. Everybody is waiting for YPD International member to join our program, but unfortunately no body comes. Hence we still have enough energy to continue the program. We have 69 participants with 16 guests speaker. We have one month activities included study English for communication and others. For complete information it will be sent after the training.

YPD Hanoi

Now YPD Hanoi starts new project: “TOHE – Supporting Vietnamese social enterprises”. In this project, YPD Hanoi formed a team to support a social enterprise in Vietnam – Tohe. YPD Hanoi has recruited 23 new members for this project. Through this project YPD Hanoi will help Tohe in Marketing, Sales, and Event. You can see all the information about this enterprise and our action plan in the attached files: TOHE Project.doc.

YPD Cambodia

1. YPD Cambodia is working with International Association of Traffic and Safety Science www.iatssforum.jp/english (IATSS) - Cambodian Alumni to do fund raising to support the Victims of Tsunami and Earthquake in Japan. IATSS is an international forum which is belong to Honda Cooperation that have a yearly program to sponsor ASEAN youth to have a 55 days training in Japan about Leadership. Each country has got their National Committee and so as Cambodia. Leak is also an alumni member of IATSS Cambodia and she is in charge of this fund raising project among her other Cambodian alumni members. The fund will be donated to the victims through IATSS Forum in Japan.

2. YPD Cambodia is also working with Cambodia Motor Sport Group to do fund raising to support a start up project named "Motorcycle Repair Specialist Vocational Training Program For Underprivileged Youth". So far the proposal has been circulated among her friends in Europe and Honda Cooperation in Japan. The respond from Honda and all friends showed a supportive to the project. Let wish and hope that the project would be become visibility with the help of everyone!

YPD United State

A few people from USA want to join YPD Indonesia this year. They want to learn more about YPD in the past and present. New Communition Officer

At a few months ago, International Coordinator asked Coordinator YPD each countries to give response about a new Communication Officer. Based on response, most of coordinators agree that Mafiz is a new one. Therefore, as an International Coordinator, today I would like to inform all of you that Md. Mafizul Islam as a new Communication Officer that is substitute of John Elvis Sitorus.

Volunteer

YPD Indonesia need 3 volunteers  for preparing the 9th Annual Training Program YPD 2011. As a job description, look at attach file. Because of YPD Indonesia is also volunteer, so we hope for volunteers should cover their ticket (round trip). YPD Indonesia only can cover about accomodation, but volunteer will stay with family. YPD Indonesia also hope YPD International can donate for these volunteer for transportation in domestic (Indonesia).
